It's Offical I'm in L.A. to Stay!

After an intense few weeks of apartment hunting and living out of suitcases with our most generous of friends we finally have an apartment in Glendale! So excited to make this move official. Stayed tuned for updates!

Stain Glass Window grant approved!

So excited to share that a new play I'm a part of which is being developed has gotten grant funding! Excited to be a part of this awesome project that will be coming to Orlando in the fall! Can't wait for another Florida performance!

L.A. Trip Wrapped Up!

Well it's been a whirlwind and invigorating past few days. This trip has been an incredible experience and I got to enjoy working with amazing casting directors like Rick Pagano, Scott David, Angela Demo, and Kendra Shay Clark! In addition to receiving such positive feedback and helpful hints from all of them, I've also gotten to meet some great agents and managers who I hope to hear from soon! All and all I'm excited to be here in L.A. and am looking forward to what the future holds for me here on the West Coast!

Meeting with Elizabeth Barnes

Just had our first workshop last night with casting director Elizabeth Barnes. I got to do a scene from Party of Five playing the role of Stephanie. Elizabeth was very helpful and informative and I really enjoyed getting to work with her and get her feedback! We also culminated the evening with a showcase where we did our work from classes for agents Orion Barnes from Rogers Orion Talenst Agency and Samantha Daniels from Avalon Artists. We also got to meet with manager Jerry Silverhardt from Brenner-Silverhardt Management, who has worked with Tom Cruise and Dylan McDermott. Knowing that it almost had a full circle fill as when I first started acting in Michigan, I took an acting workshop from a man who had one coached Dylan McDermott. Looking forward to what tonight's workshops and showcase will hold! Stayed tuned... I shall also be in the process of updating my website soon!

In L.A.!

Finally after months of anticipation we have arrived! Very excited to be here in L.A. the weather is beautiful, and we have a car! Very excited about all of our classes/workshops with One on One. Meeting a bunch of industry guests right off the bat really will be exciting!

Reading of Pinocchio's Ashes

Really excited to be doing a reading of Pinocchio's Ashes by Jokum Rohde with the Scandinavian American Theater Company on Monday Jan. 31st at 8pm. It's the first time this play is being read in it's English translation and it is really a fantastic piece! It's a courtroom drama that also has a fairytale element to it, that examines a society without art. I find it very haunting and extremely relevant. I've really been enjoying delving into this play and I think if your free on Monday you should definitely come check it out! It's free admission, plus free wine and soda (starts at 7:30pm). It's located at the Scandinavian House (58 Park Ave.) Hope to see you there!
